The Center for Materials and Innovation Technology (CMIT) invites motivated and talented undergraduate students at VinUniversity to apply for Research Assistant (RA) positions in the field of Materials Science. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are passionate about scientific discovery, innovation, and real-world applications of advanced materials.
Our research at CMIT focuses on cutting-edge areas including digital materials, AI in materials, rare metals and rare-earth materials, sustainable energy materials, 2D semiconductors and quantum materials, biomaterials, and smart materials for future technologies. Selected students will have the chance to work closely with faculty members and research teams on ongoing projects, gaining hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific communication.
Responsibilities:
Undergraduate Research Assistants will support faculty-led research projects through a variety of tasks, including conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, reviewing scientific literature, and assisting in the preparation of reports or publications. Students are also encouraged to contribute ideas and actively participate in research discussions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current undergraduate students at VinUniversity (priority given to students in engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry, or related fields)
- Strong academic performance and interest in research
- Ability to commit at least 8–10 hours per week
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Prior laboratory or research experience is a plus, but not required

Duration and Commitment:
